Tricia, don’t give people like that another thought. If he is losing sleep over not commenting on your site, there are five million other people he/she can go and harrass. As for your cold…my great grandmother used to give me a remedy that consisted of whiskey, honey, dash of lemon, heated and sipped slowly. Drink from a pretty glass and watch a fav movie and before you know it your feeling niiiiiice. Heck, I’m going to have one FOR you. ha ha. Get well soon!!

I hear what you’re saying. I find it a bit hard to comment though on sites that add so many bells and whistles to it all. A simple comment box with a post button is fine with me. Incidentally, I’m sure you found me through BE, so thanks for your comment!

I recently started reading your blog. Found it from “jaysworld”.
I agree about the comments thing. In terms of, comments form part of your blog and frankly, everyone should be able to do what they want with their blogs. I’ve been to a number of popular sites where they got “comment spam”, it’s just nasty.
Now, about that gmail invites you still have. I’d love to take one off your hands

I have been by your site before, and spent substantial time as well. I just figured I would let you know that I enjoy it. As for the commenting, I see where you are coming from. I am planning on upgrading my blog to either movable type or expression engine, and am aware that there are some spam problems. I will definately be putting anti-spamming precautions in place because I don't want to spend my day clearing out spam. I would rather surf blogs and leave comments on them. I will admit that I like getting comments myself because at times I could use that extra bit of encouragement. Have a wonderful weekend!
