ACE OF PENTACLES - The Ace of Pentacles signifies the beginning of financial improvement. It represents prosperity, good fortune, material comfort, beginnings of successful financial ventures, success, recognition, and material gain. On spreads relating to romance, the Ace of Pentacles predicts a stable relationship with much pleasure and sexual fulfillment. In its reversed position, the Ace of Pentacles would indicate that there is a problem in the foundation of a financial venture. There is a chance of loss, possibly due to poor planning or bad investments. It can also represent greed, discontent, miserliness, or poor decisions.

TWO OF PENTACLES - The Two of Pentacles signifies the ups and downs of financial fortunes. You may be juggling finances, or working more than one job to make ends meet. You may feel that you are walking a tightrope and are being pulled in many different directions at once. You may possibly need to change jobs, or to make some other important decision in your life. The Two of Pentacles reversed suggests that you are not able to maintain balance in your life and are feeling overwhelmed. You may have mishandled your finances are are now having to pay for your mistakes. Possibly you are in debt. Guard against impulsive decisions, and learn to "go with the flow".

THREE OF PENTACLES - The Three of Pentacles suggests accomplishment, high standards, competence, craftsmanship, and using your talents to the best of your ability. You can be assured of success and recognition. You are definitely off to a good start. In its reversed position, the Three of Pentacles represents a lack of ambition or knowledge, half-hearted effort, bad grades, a negative assessment of performance, or just plain "goofing off". You need to learn to work harder and you may possibly need to acquire new skills to complete the project that you are working on. You may feel bored and unappreciated at work.

FOUR OF PENTACLES - The Four of Pentacles suggests that you are holding on tightly to your possessions. You have attained financial security, but may be a little overly concerned with the loss of any material possessions. Be careful to guard against being miserly or too conservative in your financial dealings. The Four of Pentacles may also indicate the purchase of a new home. In its reversed position, the Four of Pentacles may indicate miserliness, greed, fear of losing material possessions, and the failure to properly delegate. It can also suggest that the material possessions that you have worked so hard to acquire do not bring you the happiness you believed that they would. Guard about worrying excessively about money and finances.

FIVE OF PENTACLES - The Five of Pentacles indicates the need for rest and relaxation. This is a slow period for you, and you need time to rest and regroup. You are feeling relief from stress and may possibly be taking a vacation. Use this time for meditation and contemplation. If you have been ill, this card represents that you need to take a break so that you may fully recuperate. Take a day off!!! In its reversed position, the Five of Pentacles indicates that the period of rest is over and that it is time to get back into the swing of things. It also may indicate physical healing. In an otherwise negative spread, the Five of Pentacles (R) may represent withdrawal, rejection, or illness.

SIX OF PENTACLES - The Six of Pentacles signifies that you have more than enough money for yourself and are able to share your good fortune with others. Now is the time to pay off debts. You may receive a loan, inheritance, bonus at work, or some sort of prize. You may be thinking of saving for your future, and now would be a good time to start doing so. It is also a great time for investments. If you are in need of money, it is on the way. In the reversed position, the Six of Pentacles would indicate stinginess, wasteful spending, excessive debt, theft, or financial misdealings. You may not receive the money you were expecting or you may experience a loss through theft or underhanded dealings. Beware of devious schemes and underhanded operations.

SEVEN OF PENTACLES - The Seven of Pentacles represents that you are on the right track. You will soon begin to reap the rewards of the successful "harvest" that you have planted in the past. This is a period of slow, but steady and continual growth. You need to be patient and continue working hard. This card may also signify a waiting period and a time for assessment and for future planning. In an otherwise negative spread, however, the Seven of Pentacles may signify depression, a sense of futility, wasted effort, or dissatisfaction. In its reversed position, the Seven of Pentacles signifies that you are feeling anxious or hopeless about a project that you have been working on for some time now. You need to keep working, and beware of giving up too soon. If you are involved in an obviously hopeless cause, you need to learn from your mistakes so that you will do better next time.

EIGHT OF PENTACLES - The Eight of Pentacles suggests schooling, education, training, learning, and acquiring skills for your chosen profession. You are using your talents wisely, and material security is probable. Your work is fulfilling and enjoyable. Continue to learn all you can -- read books, take seminars or classes, and learn new methods. These will pay off for you in the future. The Eight of Pentacles (R) suggests that you are pretending to know more than you actually do. You may be misusing your skills, cheating, or not performing to the best of your ability. Possibly you may feel that the world owes you a living. It may also signify unemployment. Learn to make good use of your skills and talents. This will make you feel much better about yourself!

NINE OF PENTACLES - The Nine of Pentacles indicates that you have reached a point in your life where you are feeling self-confident, and you are self-sufficient and able to rely on yourself. You have attained well-deserved success and may now emjoy money, leisure time, pleasure, and material comfort. It may also indicate your desire for these things if you do not already have them. In its reversed position, the Nine of Pentacles suggests that you may be suffering the consequences of poor decisions. You may have financial setbacks or simply feel burdened by your wealth. Possibly you may experience a loss due to unwise decisions or foolish actions. Your foundations may be about to give way. If they do, learn from your mistakes and build a more solid and secure foundation next time.

TEN OF PENTACLES - The Ten of Pentacles is a very positive card which signifies comfort, wealth, success, security, and family matters. It often signifies inheritance and can sometimes indicate marriage, depending on the other cards in the spread. You have made sound financial investments and worked hard, and now you and your family are able to enjoy your well- deserved success. In its reversed position, the Ten of Pentacles may indicate financial loss, money problems, family disputes, or loss through investments. There is a threat to your financial security, and now is not the time to take any financially-related risks. A family member may be ill.

PAGE OF PENTACLES - The Page of Pentacles suggests that you will soon receive good news about money and finances. You may be pursuing your education. This is the beginning of a solid financial foundation. You may be starting a new enterprise or business venture. Be patient, persistent, and determined to reach your goal. In its reversed position, the Page of Pentacles may indicate an unexpected expense, delays, money problems, rebelliousness, moodiness, laziness, and lack of appreciation. You need to use your intelligence and common sense at this time to avoid repeating past mistakes.

KNIGHT OF PENTACLES - The Knight of Pentacles represents progress in financial matters. It suggests dependability, practicality, conventionality, patience, and perseverance. It is a card of slow, but steady progress. New people or experiences may also come into your life. A financial venture will finally pay off, or you may receive money from an unexpected source. In the reversed position, the Knight of Pentacles would represent financial difficulties, a lack of progress, obstacles, depression, tedium, weakness, apathy, or complacency. You are not finding much to be happy about at the present time. Possibly you are being too conservative, or you are feeling uninspired. You need to try to find the joy in your life once again.

QUEEN OF PENTACLES - The Queen of Pentacles would represent a businesswomon or a good organizer. This card represents prosperity, sensuality, abundance, shrewdness, resourcefulness, security, creativity, and wealth. If you take a sensible, practical approach to matters at this time, you will note steady progress. This is also a card which represents fertility, pregnancy, and sensual delights. The Queen of Pentacles reversed signifies greed, irresponsibility, distrust, lack of common sense, conspicuous consumption, laziness, a sense of entitlement, dependency, and putting on airs. You need to stop concerning yourself so much with outer appearances and discover what is truly valuable in your life. Beward of letting your own fears and self-doubt lead to a sense of insecurity.

KING OF PENTACLES - The King of Pentacles represents business ability, commitmen, organization, status, wealth, power, control, gentleness, and kindness. You may be concerned with money and security at the present time. This is a good time to start a new business venture or invest. Remember that a practical and conscientious approach at this time will pay off in the future. The King of Pentacles reversed would indicate a lack of good business sense, worry about finances, placing one's money and career ahead of all else, greed, fraud, and dishonesty. Be careful not to measure your success only in terms of monetary success. Do not let your drive for financial success lead you into dishonest activities, and do not try to gain success by putting others down or trying to ruin another's reputation.
