Thanks (once again) for your support. 🙂 I am slowly coming out of this, I think. Or, at least, enough to feel like a functioning human being again. And I feel a rant coming on. Stay tuned.
This is just a random quote from my sidebar that I thought was too good to be allowed to fall into oblivion.
Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.

Fantastic quote! Glad to see you’re coming around – rant on girl! Try opening your favorite graphics program and bust out a new layout – designing/creating always helps me and I sense you have the sort of outlet.
*hugs*

maybe this isn’t the best place to post this – but thank you so much for remembering me during the holidays – since i was no where to be found it was kind of you to ‘see’ me and remember me.
i like this layout, tricia. it’s very cartoonish neatish with a great green and pink feel. 🙂
i’m reading about your mood lately and i gotta say i’ve been feeling a lot of that lately – which was why the time away gave me the perspective to kinda get on out of it. it’s hard though – that feeling of wanting to change just that one thing that you feel is holding you back in order to get that one thing you desire.
people could write all day long that who ever doesn’t see you as valuable isn’t valuable themselves, but i ‘over’stand that this means nothing to hear this bs when you, yourself, feel so invaluable. i do know – painfully – that the only true happiness can only be achieved once i feel that i’m priceless – but it sure is difficult not giving someone else the power to put a price tag on me anyways.
for what it’s worth – good luck with that – and i hope this year brings you peace.

I live in fear, and it sucks!
Welcome to modernized security measures!

modernized security measures, whatever. Living in fear is the same as not living at all.
